CCCC: Math Offerings

The options for completion below include the minimum number of credit hours a student can expect to receive coupled with the most stringent requirement for universal acceptance. Some institutions may award more credit hours or accept lower AP or IB scores. Students should consult their institution of choice for specific requirements.

Students will receive at least three (3) degree credits for Math from the participating institutions (for Math, only the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, and the College of William and Mary award credit) by completing one of the following options below:
  1. Math International Baccalaureate Exam with a score of 5 or higher
  2. Calculus AB Advanced Placement Exam with a score of 4 or higher
  3. Calculus BC Advanced Placement Exam with a score of 4 or higher*
*Special Note: The University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science awards credit for only AP Calculus BC.
